ICQ has not done anything to eliminate the group chat or even the accounts posting the content. I reported the chat due to child pornography. As I was reporting the images, a thumbnail for a video showed there was a child involved. It’s a private group for the sole purpose of sharing and posting pornography. One man, whom I had to block, added me to a private group chat with over 3k people in it. I read an article that listed ICQ as a great app to reminisce of the chat rooms we used to have back in the early 2000’s.ĭownloaded the app and soon found out some men use it to prey upon women, to either scam them or for sexual purposes.
